She was the best birthday girl! We sang "Happy Birthday to You" first thing on Wednesday morning and again while she was eating breakfast. She quickly picked up on the theme of the day and started singing it to herself. Here is Miss Priss eating her breakfast as a big two year old.
I asked Adeline what Lillian would want to do for lunch on her birthday (if she could tell us) and she said lunch at Pullen Park. So that is what we did!
After a good nap, the birthday girl was ready for an afternoon of play.
Lillian got a Minnie Mouse 4 wheeler for her birthday, Adeline was a great big sister showing her the ropes. But Lillian quickly needed the speed of the jeep. I think she is going to be my daredevil!
Riley is the driver...but can't get his legs in the jeep.
Nonni and Poppy celebrate with Lillian!
Lots of bubbles!
Lots of cake!
Lots of presents!
Poppy was in charge of freeing the princesses from the plastic box, not an easy task, especially with two girls tugging on you.
Who knew Uncle WhoWho liked princesses?!
Lillian could not get enough of the cake. Not sure whose cake this was, just turned around and she was chowing down.
I took her to the doctor yesterday for her yearly check-up and she was a whopping 22 pounds. She is a little peanut. She was chatting it up with the nurse and playing hide and seek in the room. She had more personality in those 22 lbs. than I have in my pinky finger.
Happy Birthday, Lillian!
