OK, last post about my birthday.
As I have mentioned in earlier posts, Adeline loves to make "soup" on the porch. We had just arrived and she was already cooking. This time it was acorn soup for the girls (in the chairs to the left).
One of our first adventures was a trip to Roomies to say "hello" to the horse and to pick tomatoes. Roomie and John were not there but we had fun harvesting on their porch!
Uncle Weese got there on Friday evening....with balloons! The girls (all 3 of us) loved them. They lasted for days, and Adeline and Weese actually let 2 go to see how high they would fly. One did not even make it out of the trees but was helped down by the BB gun.
Lillian REALLY loved the balloons. She dragged them around with her for 2 days.
A couple trips to the park...
and walks around the block.
Dance party with Uncle Weese!
(notice the pink balloon)
We had planned to have a picnic on the parkway Saturday but the weather did not agree with us. Teeny and Adeline got to work and made the perfect make-shift picnic area, on the porch. Followed by a jam session...
and then bubbles!
If there is ever a moment when we cannot find Adeline we know that we can find her in the driveway. Picking acorns and putting them in the pitcher. For acorn soup, of course!
The flower girl. Teeny was pruning the roses and Adeline thought it was SO much fun to have the flowers thrown on her like a flower girl. It was a great way to end the weekend!
Thanks to everyone for making my birthday special, and making it last and last and last!
