Adeline's Favorite Band

Today was the day.  The day we have been waiting for since we bought the tickets in November.  The Fresh Beat Band came to Durham and we we there!  The FBB is a kids music group that has a tv show on Nick Jr.  One of Adeline's most favorite shows.  She desperately wanted to look like Kiki and you all know how much I love to put together a costume!  I am reminded of Punky Brewster.

Lillian's BirthDAY and Spring Break

Tuesday was THE birthday.  We celebrated with a lunch at Logan's with Jackie.  She was treated with a muffin...a good thing since she did not even taste her birthday cake!

Adeline got to spend the first part of spring break with Teeny and Doc.  She and Teeny took a morning trip to City Lake Park and she sent me pictures.

Lillian's Birthday Pt. 1

Miss Lillian turns 1 tomorrow!  We had a cookout for the princess last night.  Here are a few highlights

The last few days...

We had the tree in our front yard cut down this week.  The process provided plenty of entertainment for the girls and the whole neighborhood!

Lillian did this ALL BY HERSELF.  She was holding onto the edge of the basket one minute, I turned around for a second and she climbed in. Wish she was that good at putting the laundry away.

I turned Lillian's car seat around to face forward, a few days early (supposed to when they turn one).  This was our first trip out with her seeing the world from this new perspective.  She hooted the whole time!

Egg Hunt #2

We had wonderful egg hunt on Tuesday!  It was a beautiful afternoon and Adeline was finally getting the hang of hunting eggs.  

There were many more eggs than kids so she had no trouble finding them!
