All about Fall

Adeline has recently been "reading" an Amelia Bedelia book about apple pies.  I thought it would be fun to make our own apple pie from scratch!  We made the dough then put the ingredients together the next day.  Adeline was a natural in the kitchen, a little Betty Crocker!

Adeline was obviously very excited about the pie...

Adeline asked for seconds "more ice cream please, just ice cream, no more pie." Turns out that no one in my family likes apple pie.  But they really like ice cream!

Adeline had a campout with Luke last week.  Here she is before she hit the trail.

The next day we went to the Farmer's Market and picked out a few pumpkins.  Can you guess which one is Hattie's?

Ready for school!  I took this because Lillian is wearing Adeline's old coat.  It is still a little big on her but keeps her warm!

A fall fest full of fun.  Lillian was terrified by the giant scarecrow.  Adeline was curious, wanted her picture  taken with him, just not near him.

We went to the pumpkin patch today, will post those pictures tomorrow!

All Smiles...and teeth

Lillian got her first fat lip from a run-in with a baby doll stroller and a stool.  I tried to get a picture of it and she, as usual, was all smiles and posing for the camera.

Adeline was measured for her flower girl dress that she will wear in Jackie's wedding in January.  I thought they would be impressed by the white dresses but they barely paid attention to them, all they wanted to do was play on the stools.

Teeny sent wax vampire lips.  Need I say more?

Adeline the Fire Fighter

Adeline's class took a trip to the fire house this week.  She has talked about it ever since!  These are the pictures that her teachers sent out.  It looked like they had a great time!

Then they topped off the day with a trip to Krispy Kreme!

A Big Pancake and a Big Dog

After her big night out on Friday I thought she needed an equally big morning/breakfast.

Sunday we had a quick visit with the Neelons.  It was great to see them.  Adeline really loved seeing the girls!

Camp Teeny Doc

That is what we call it when the girls go to Teeny and Doc's house.  The girls had a week long vacation in Randlewood a couple weeks ago.  Mom kept me in the loop with pictures.  I looked forward to hearing the ding of a text which meant she was sending me a picture.

Adeline came home a few days before Lillian.  This meant that Miss Lillian got a some one-on-one time with Teeny and Doc.  Teeny was behind the camera which is why there are no pictures of her.  May have to get Doc to take a few of her!
