Clean Mimis

I washed Lillian's mimis this afternoon and it was like Christmas when they were finally dry.  She wrapped them around herself and ran around the house squealing.

The girls headed to Randleman last weekend. Mom sent me a bunch of pictures to keep me updated on all their adventures.  Adeline showed Doc how to style his hair and spent time in the kitchen.  They had a few rainy days so Teeny constructed a cardboard castle....and they wonder where i get my love of the cardboard box.

When Wilson and I were little we loved Saturdays at the mill.  Dad would let us run around and ride on the carts, things we could never do in the mill during the work week.  It makes me happy to think my girls get to enjoy the same ride!

The happy foursome on Sunday.

The girls say "Thank you Teeny and Doc!"

and more...

Just found these pictures from last weekend...
Right before the snow day we had a visit from Weesee.  The girls talked him into blowing bubbles, their favorite thing to do!

And we roasted marshmallows on our snow day, too.  Adeline does not like the "crunchy marshmallows" only the "fluffy ones".

Snow Day and more...

Last weekend we had a snow day.  A real snow day, all day....but it did not accumulate.  Girls loved it, we did too!

Adeline said that snowflakes "taste like candy!"

Same day, we got out to see Riley play basketball. He was a natural on the court and fast!

Then we came home for a game of Head Bandz, a Disney game that Adeline is just now able to play.  Lillian just liked wearing the ears.

Lillian found her nose.

Lillian finally got to meet Byron and Suzie!  Baby Spencer was a bonus.

Happy Valentine's Day,

from my 2 Valentines!
We had a Valentine's Day breakfast that consisted of all our everyday breakfast foods but on new plates:)  Lillian is making her "cheese" face.  That is now the face she makes when I tell her to smile.

The girls were decked out for school today!

Cupid Sue Sue came by with "looooons" and gifts!  They each loved all their goodies but I have to admit that the princess balloon has received the most affection although I am a big fan of the big pink heart!

A lifesaver already.  Teeny and Doc sent the Buddha Board...have you seen one?  It is awesome and Lillian and Adeline (Luke and I too) have already logged tons of time painting on it!

This was not taken today but I had to add it in..my sweet Lillian checking out our very first Daffodil!

Happy Valentine's Day!
Love,
Us

February

I had a major computer dilemma last week and nearly lost all of my pictures.  It was total user error.  After logging many hours with the Apple Store and on the phone with them I am happy to report that I got my pictures back and now have a much better understanding of a Mac!  Phew.  Here are some of the pictures that were brought back from the dead...

Baby blue eyes at 22 months

They love a cardboard box!

It is so hard being a ballerina.

We were at the doctors office for Adeline's ear infection and Lillian was rummaging around in my purse and came out with my lip gloss.  I learned that this is a great distraction for little girls.  They probably took 20 pictures of themselves on the phone making silly faces.

Valentine's care package from Grandora!

If Lillian sees Adeline's helmet she puts it on....and keeps it on.  She won't let me take it off.  Here she is on the way to Nonni and Poppy's, I thought it was hilarious...and a little ridiculous.

We had a special visit this past weekend from our Charlotte friends.  The girls had a great time playing with them but they did not sit still long enough to get a group shot.  I did grab one of Lillian and Tripp "sharing" a puzzle. But sadly, I was not able to get a picture with Lillian's birthday twin, Wallace.  I did get her in her precious Valentine's tee from him!

Luke and his "gallery".

We wrapped up the weekend with the Barrows.  The girls and baby Spencer ran around and laughed all night, then ended up in pjs!

Can you hear the squealing?

They are 3 little peas in a pod!
