We had a wonderful Christmas! This was the first year that Adeline really "got it" and it was fun to watch her excitement throughout the season. We spent most of the 2nd and 3rd week of December sick as dogs but managed to pull it together by the week before Christmas. Mom and Dad came in town the weekend before and we celebrated a pre-Christmas with Wilson and Lindsey before they went out west with the Glanders.
The dress Adeline is wearing was mine when I was little.
I find it hard to believe that we were able to get a picture with all four of us looking at the camera and no one crying, mom and dad included!
The BEFORE....remember how this looks....will change a few pictures down.....
A groggy Christmas morning (I was thrilled that it was 7a.m....that is late in our house)
Santa brought Adeline a BIG gift that would not fit down the chimney (or in our front door). He left her a scavenger hunt to lead her to it...
The last clue was a picture of her swingset in the backyard. The big gift was on the porch, which she would have to pass right by to get to the swingset....
She was surprised, mostly confused, and wanted to keep playing the "clue game". It was a bit anti-climactic!
Still not sure what to do.....
Ohhhhhh, now I get it. "This is cool!"
Yes, Lillian got some presents too. She was more impressed by the wrapping paper of course.
This is the AFTER....
Adeline's gift to Lillian. A pair of Dora socks and a purple baby doll. It took us an hour at Big Lots to pick these two items out.
WooooooooWhoooooooooooo!
